Great site! Having so much experience with fuzz pedals, I was wondering if you could suggest which one Steve Winwood might have used for the fuzz organ sound on "Low Spark of High-Heeled Boys" in 1971. It's very hard to find sound samples of people playing anything but guitars through these effects.

Hello fuzzcentral,
take a look at the Maestro FZ-1A-layout, theres something swapped with the power and grounding at pins 2 and 3!

Greetings
Magnus

I'll say it again...
This site is no longer being managed
If you are hoping for an answer from the boss,it won't be forthcoming
Please don't buy the mod lists
There are many sites on the 'net that give out the same info & more on modding the DS-1 and others
Try freestomp
This is still a great site, but a lot of the schematics have errors
This site is great for general info on fuzz
Just don't take it as gospel

Hi, i have a question! Can anyone help me with the vox tonebender? I have etched the design and bought all the components including the 20 K trim pot which puzzled me because the design shows the tracks joined and i'm not sure how to install this! Please can anyone help? Thanks again

I have just listed an original, unmolested 1967 Vox McCoy Wah-Wah pedal on eBay, in case anyone on this site wants to check it out. It would be a good item for anyone who wanted an original for historical reference. And it works fine. I have had it for 36 years.
