I just want to tell you, that your homepage ist amazing!
After building a Tonebender, Fuzz Face, Rangemaster and Ross Compressor I just have finished my Vox Wah project and it sounds wonderfull!

I have a question about the transistors: I use the BC 109.
Could you tell me how much hfe your wah- transistors have? Is it important to match or dismatch them?

Thanks!

Do you sell the rangemaster PCB?

Hi Phillip,
What a great little site with info from some one that knows what he's talking about.
Are you still available to work out/advise on old models circa late 60's.
Can send details and photos of my quest.........

Hey phillip... This is a great site! I wish I had come across it before I began my fuzz box quest. I have just finished my fuzz v 1.0 - which was a complete failure :(. So I am starting again, this time using your awesome schematic. Short of making my own PCB board, do you or anyone else sell the pre-made axis face boards?

always fun to see just how those good ole' boxes do what they do.

Thanks for a very helpful site, if you need any hard to get transistors, 0c44, oc45, oc71 , oc81 , oc81d's, British transistor radios from the late 50's early 60's have these as standard have a look on the english e bay site under transistor radios.
Decca, Dansette, Phillips, Roberts, Pedio, Ferguson are a few of the names to look for.Ian

Two older DS-1's; TA7136AP in the newer one, and TA7136P in the earlier one. I'd love to try your updates-do you have one for these?
